JFC was established in 1998 when three former companies, Joyce Engineering, Flegg Engineering and Chesham Engineering were amalgamated and merged together within a single site of approximately 60,000 square feet in the town of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. This new facility provided vastly increased manufacturing capacity which has enabled the company to double its sales turnover through providing its clients with "complete metalworking solutions".
In November of 2005, Thames Valley Wire Limited, a highly skilled company that provided wire and wire-mesh solutions, was acquired by JFC. These capabilities further complimented the existing wide range of core skills that JFC offer to its customers who operate in a wide range of market sectors. Detailed information on the full range of core skills is provided later within this document.
In addition to the in-house capabilities offered, JFC has developed strong partnerships with a growing number of suppliers that are based in Asia and Eastern Europe. These highly ethical suppliers provide metalworking, plastic and fabric components, along with finished products, to ensure that through engineering control of the complete supply chain, JFC can offer high quality best value solutions for low to high batch requirements.
